CRIMINAL LAW:

*DRUG OFFENSES - Drug crimes can range in severity from violations to crimes that could carry a life sentence. If you have been arrested or are under investigation for any drug offense, you should contact an attorney immediately to preserve your rights, as having any drug-related conviction on your record can effect your future including your ability to secure student loans and other types of federal funding.  With some convictions, you can also loose your privilege to drive in New York State.  I handle all types of drug offenses including possession, distribution, trafficking, cultivation, manufacturing, and importation.

*DWI/DWAI:

If you are facing drunk driving or driving under the influence of drug charges, you need an experienced criminal attorney making sure your constitutional rights are protected.  There is no simple plea to DWI/DWAI offense, as it can immediately affect your right to drive, especially in refusal cases.

*TRAFFIC OFFENSES:

Although not always thought of as crimes, traffic tickets can have serious criminal consequences. Some traffic-related cases are misdemeanors and can become part of a criminal record, and it is crucial to have experienced legal help.  I will protect your rights so that you obtain the best possible outcome.

*MISDEMEANORS:

A misdemeanor is a crime normally punishable by less than a year in a jail.  These can include Harassment, Assault, Criminal Contempt, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Arrest, Trespass, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of Marijuana and weapons charges.

*VIOLATIONS:

While not considered "crimes" by New York State, some violations can still seriously effect your future, and you can face penalties of up to 15 days in jail and/or fines.

FELONIES:

Felonies range in class (or degree) from an "F" to an "A", and the effects of such a conviction can be just as varying.  Having a felony conviction can prohibit your ability to find employment, be in the military and receive federal/state funding and licensing (such as for being a teacher, nurse, pharmacist, attorney, doctor, etc...).  It is very important to have your rights preserved at every stage of a felony prosecution, and your attorney having criminal law experience is extremely helpful.

REAL ESTATE:

Buying or selling a home or property?? Have piece of mind knowing that your rights and interests are being protected!

CORPORATE:

Drafting of contracts, review and revision of contracts, and making sure that your business is set up and run in the fashion that best suits your needs.

WILLS:

Having a will is something that people put off, because no one likes to think about not being around, but it is one of the most important things you can do to protect your loved ones in case of a tragedy.  To be considered valid and hold up in Court, there are many different legal requirements in New York State.  Let me help walk you through the steps and give you and your family assurance..
